The geese are out at the refuge by the thousands. After the fire burned off several thousand acres, they have come in to feed. It rained last night so winter grass should start spouting now.

After completing high school I went to sea. Worked my way up to Captain. I have worked and photographed many places throughout the world. I took an interest in photography 1984, while working in California. Over the next 6 years I took 2 correspondence courses and 2 college classes to better my skills. Digital has helped me improve my techniques as well as open up new horizons. I am looking at new areas I never before had an interest. I shoot nature, landscapes, macro, and wildlife. I hope to soon explore people photography. God has always been a part of my life since I was a child. He has carried me through many hard times and has always brought me home again. In Him is all my trust.
